So you caught a bug(s)
So you caught bug(s)
Many of us rely on one software to clean, guard, protect, and a lot more. I used to use one, thinking that was sufficient, but it was not. When I get an infected computer, and it has possibility to be repaired I use series of programs. First I connect the hard drive to my computer, make sure, if you do this, your antivirus is updated. Then I do series of scans, and if they pass I move on to another stage, which is to boot up the infected computer and scan it while the system is running.
The reason being is some malware is hard to see if it is not running in windows. I have many, many times reached for and swear by it. Very easy to use, simple, though it takes a while for it to scan, it is but very thorough program.

At the end of installation the program will ask you if you would like to update, yes you want to, and yes you want for the program to launch afterwards.

Make sure you do full scan, it will take a while. Options are set, no reason to mess with that

When you press scan, you will get option to select which hard drive, media to scan. Mine is C and G, since my HDD is partitioned. Mostly you will only have C.

Found only one problem, not bad, all you have to do is click remove selected. The file will go to quarantine where you can delete it from.
In conclusion this software is one of my top choices; free version offers same quality as paid with the exception of not updating itself automatically and not offering real-time scan. Whether you want to check if your program that you use missed something or you are trying to get rid of nasty bugs you might want to consider this over some of the other products, and I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised. One last thing, the program offers File Assassin for use when you cannot delete something.
Pros
Free
The best strategy against really sick computer when coupled with other software.
Very easy to use, your grandma can do it!
Other than it doesn’t offer real time protection and automatic updates, which is more than bearable it is same as the paid version.
Cons
Not really a con but takes s a while for scan, so do not be surprised.
